Bloom and Butter Vegan Patisserie

LaKendrick Waller was born in Tarboro, North Carolina, and has called the Dallas–Fort Worth area home for the past 11 years. He is currently a student at Dallas College, where he is pursuing an Associate degree in Culinary Arts.

LaKendrick brings more than 11 years of leadership experience to the Denton Community Market Board, including five years in management with his current organization. His professional background in leadership, combined with his passion for the culinary arts, helped inspire his journey into entrepreneurship and the creation of Bloom and Butter Vegan Patisserie.

Through Bloom and Butter, LaKendrick creates handcrafted vegan pastries and desserts with an emphasis on demonstrating that plant-based baking can be every bit as creative, indulgent, and beautifully crafted as traditional pastry. His experience as a Denton Community Market vendor has allowed him to combine his love of the culinary arts with his appreciation for small businesses and the communities that support them.

As a Vendor Board Member, LaKendrick is excited to bring the perspectives of both a small-business owner and an experienced leader to the Denton Community Market. He looks forward to supporting fellow vendors, helping strengthen the market, and contributing to a welcoming space where local entrepreneurs and the Denton community can continue to grow together.
